Dog Crates
PLEASE CRATE YOUR DOGS!
Dogs can get anxious if they are locked up in an unfamiliar room and they are unable to leave. They will claw and scratch to escape. Therefore, you must crate your dog(s) if you wish to leave them alone in the cabin when you go out-and-about for the day. There is an extra-large and a small dog crate in the master closet that you may use. Please restow when you are finished using the crate. You will be responsible for all costs for repairing and/or replacing anything damaged by your dog(s). Since all the wood in the cabin is 200 – 250 years old, and the doors are custom-made, this can get very expensive for you. We love dogs, and we don’t want to prohibit yours from coming to The Outpost, but if scratch damage keeps happening then we will have no other choice but to exclude dogs.
