Here are a few reminders regarding our no hunting policy:

The wildlife on the property is abundant and here for your enjoyment. You are prohibited from hunting or discharging firearms at The Outpost. You are also prohibited from target practice or bow hunting. This is a liability issue if someone is injured or killed due to a firearm/ bow while renting the property.

In addition, for safety & compliance reasons, the Game Wardens will be called if firearms/bows are discharged. If we receive a report that you have illegally poached on our property, your reservation will immediately end, you will be escorted off the property, and will not receive any refund of any sort. You might also be arrested or have charges pressed by the Game Wardens if they deem it necessary.

Additional Details:

1.    The Outpost is not in any line of fire, nor near any line of fire.

2.    Texas whitetail hunting season is from November to January. You will hear rifle fire in the distance during these months.

3.    There are no known still/ stalking hunters in the area. The hunting in the area is done by stand only.

4.    November – January: When down by the canyon, do not venture left past the yellow, ‘No Trespassing’ sign on the trail. 

6.    When out by the field, do not walk left near or in front of the second stand, which is the farthest one away. The stand closet to the road labeled, “Checkpoint Charlie,” is for wildlife observation and belongs to The Outpost.
