The drawers, cabinet doors, and toilet seats are all soft close devices. They only need a gentle tap or gentle push to close them. It is normal that they will move slowly to eliminate slamming.

Please do not force them to close. If you do, you will force the out grease that is packed in the resistance cylinder and subsequently damage the cylinder. The soft close will no longer work, the hinge will have to be removed and disassembled, and then refilled with new grease. It’s a total pain, so please allow the drawers, doors, and seats to close slowly. Thank you!
