We Aren’t Just Dog Friendly – We Are Doggone Awesome:

We love our dogs, and we know you love yours too. The Outpost is a proud supporter of all dogs, and especially those that rise to the call to serve our states and country. In fact, the entire guest room is dedicated to military and first responder dogs. We welcome our canine family members and there’s plenty of room for a dog to explore -- they love The Outpost as much as we do! That’s why we do not charge an extra dog fee or extra dog deposit!!

And you can help us out! Please let us know that you are bringing dogs so they can budget the extra time into their schedule and bring all needed cleaning supplies in advance.

Here's some dog facts:

1. 2 dogs of any size and breed; additional dogs will require owner approval.
2. Fenced in courtyard with 3 – 4-foot-high cattle panel.
3. 15 acres to explore – unlimited off site.
4. Nearby Crabapple Creek for cooling off – make a right onto Keese Rd. when exiting the Main Gate and its about 1.5 miles towards RR965.
5. Regular flea & tick lawn spraying.
6. Dog sleeping blankets in the basket in the guest room.
7. Gray drying towels – please do not use the indoor white towels to dry off your dog.
8. Dog waste station, with scooper, at the barn.
9. 3 different size steel water bowls.
10. 4 water hoses.
11. Large portable dog pool, 4 ft. x 1 ft. Please leave on front porch to dry when you leave. If you are able to dry it completely, then please follow the folding instructions below.
12. Covered front & back porches.
13. X-large & small collapsible crates in the master closet. Please always crate your dog when you leave them to go out-and-about for the day. They will scratch and damage the doors if you do not crate them. See below photo.
14. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds. Do not move the beds or move the mattresses for your dogs to climb onto the beds. Excessive hair requires you to pay an additional charge(s). See below photo.
15. Do not allow dogs to urinate in the grass or gardens near the cabin as it burn the plants. Please do your best so they do not urinate on the grass as well (but we get it – you can’t always stop them when they run out there and just go)! See below photo.
16. Plenty of dog treats in the kitchen – yay!
