We run a tight ship at The Outpost to make sure everything goes as planned during your stay! Every single appliance is checked, and all maintenance services at The Outpost run on a set schedule, such as lawn cutting, A/C servicing, generator checks, firewood restocking, propane refills, water well servicing, etc. We will always try to schedule these activities during regular housekeeping hours of 11am check-out and 4pm check-in.

In the event that there is a critical repair that must be made, such as the HVAC system, we may need to schedule a technician during your stay. The Owners, Lori and Mike Carew, will advise you when someone is expected to be at the cabin to perform repairs. If a contractor/vendor needs access inside the cabin, then we will obtain your permission first. If access is needed outside the cabin, such as for a fallen tree, then we will also obtain your permission in advance. You awalys have the right to decline and we will schedule another time. If we do have your permission, then we will work with you on a time that best fits everyone's needs.
