The Texas Hill Country is packed with cedar and The Outpost is no exception. The heaviest times of cedar pollination are January and February. We’ve taken the time to clear out much of the cedar directly next to the cabin, but its impossible to mitigate cedar pollen as it can travel hundreds of miles. We use HEPA filters in our A/C system and housekeeping also uses HEPA filters. The good news is that cedar is a natural mosquito repellent and there are no mosquitoes at The Outpost!
